Kevin Adkins, AIA, NCARB, is the founder & principal of ad| |ROOM architecture + design. Kevin is also a Lecturer at the University of Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Design, with a focus on design and construction.

He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. At both universities, Kevin exhibited many projects and received multiple awards including nominations for the SOM Traveling Fellowship and the Schiff Award. He also received a portfolio award from the Emerging Visions 2000 Portfolio Competition sponsored by AIA Chicago, Knoll, and The Chicago Architectural Club.

Kevin is a licensed architect and has worked with practices in Michigan, Illinois, and California in a variety of programs and scale. His projects have won multiple awards from a variety of publications including Residential Architect, and the AIA.
